1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in all giveaway campaigns hosted on the Impact Giveaways platform (“the Platform”). By entering any campaign, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or older, unless otherwise specified.
2.2 Participants must reside in South Africa unless the campaign states otherwise.
2.3 Employees of Impact Giveaways and their immediate families may not enter campaigns unless explicitly permitted.
3. Free Entry
3.1 All awareness campaigns on the Platform are free to enter.
3.2 No purchase or payment is required to participate.
3.3 Optional platform tips may be offered but are entirely voluntary and do not influence the chances of winning.
4. Entry Requirements
4.1 To enter a campaign, participants must:
- Read the campaign content
- Answer the required campaign question
- Submit their entry via the official campaign page
4.2 Entries must be completed in full and include accurate information.
4.3 Only one entry per person is permitted per campaign, unless otherwise stated.
5. Entry Limits
5.1 Each campaign is limited to a maximum of 1,000 entries.
5.2 Once the entry limit is reached, no further entries will be accepted.
6. Prizes
6.1 Unless otherwise stated, charity and non-profit campaigns include a guaranteed R500 prize provided by Impact Giveaways.
6.2 For privately run individual campaigns, the campaign owner is responsible for supplying the advertised prize.
6.3 Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless specifically stated.
7. Winner Selection
7.1 Winners are selected fairly and randomly from all valid entries.
7.2 The winner selection process is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.3 Winners will be notified via the contact details provided at entry.
7.4 If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, Impact Giveaways reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. Participant Responsibilities
8.1 Participants agree to provide truthful and accurate information.
8.2 Participants may be asked to verify their identity before a prize is awarded.
8.3 Any attempt to manipulate entries, submit false information, or use multiple accounts will result in disqualification.
9. Sharing and Promotion
9.1 Participants are encouraged, but not required, to share campaigns to help create awareness.
9.2 Sharing a campaign does not provide additional entries unless specifically stated.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
10.1 Personal information collected is used solely for the purposes of administering the campaign and communicating with participants.
10.2 Impact Giveaways will not sell or share participant data with third parties except where necessary to deliver prizes.
10.3 By entering, participants agree to receive campaign-related communications.
11. Liability
11.1 Impact Giveaways acts solely as a platform provider and is not responsible for:
- Third-party sponsored prizes
- The actions of individual campaign owners
- Technical failures outside its reasonable control
11.2 Participation is at the entrant’s own risk.
12. Disqualification
Impact Giveaways reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
- Violates these Terms
- Provides false information
- Attempts to manipulate the entry process
- Acts in a manner deemed abusive or fraudulent
13. Campaign Changes
13.1 Impact Giveaways reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any campaign if necessary due to technical, legal, or operational reasons.
13.2 Any changes will be communicated on the campaign page.
14. General
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
14.2 Participation in any campaign constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
14.3 Impact Giveaways reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
